How to remove water stains
Water stains can be avoided by cleaning up spills when they happen, but when you’re too late, here’s what we recommend:
Option 1- Cleaning with WOCA Natural Soap every other week. Natural Soap is a conditioning cleaner with plant fats. With regular cleaning, the fats in this soap will settle into the stain and fade it with time.
Option 2- For water stains that have left gray, black or brown rust stains, apply WOCA Tannin Spot Neutralizer. If it at least fades the stain on the first try, it’s working. Repeat the application, but following up with a touch up application of WOCA oil is required to restore the protective finish. Results vary.
Option 3- If your floor is susceptible to frequent water stains, there may not be enough oil finish on your floor. A deep cleaning with WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner and a maintenance coat of WOCA Oil removes the stains and restores the oil finish and water resistant protection.
