Recommendation: If drying times are not followed, this can result in poor adhesion and reduced resistance. For each layer of Natural Sealer, drying times will be increased. High temperature and low air humidity will reduce drying times. Low temperature and high air humidity will extend drying times.

It is important that both wood and product have a temperature of min. 59°F (preferably around 68°F) and air humidity of approximately 40-60 %. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated for optimal evaporation and drying time. Untreated floors must be free of dirt, grease, wax and dust. Floors that have been finished previously must be sanded down to bare wood before the sealer is applied. Vacuum thoroughly and tack the floor afterwards if necessary, using a tightly-wrung water-soaked cloth. Shake the Natural Sealer thoroughly before use.

Always remember to test on a less visible spot to check the compatibility of the surface with the product.

    1. Apply sealer undiluted with brush or roller, lengthwise, and allow the surface to dry.
    2. Sand the surface with 120-180 grit and vacuum clean the surface thoroughly.
    3. Apply a 1 coat of WOCA Water Based Finish. Leave the surface to dry until next day.
    4. The next day, apply another 1-2 coats of WOCA Water Based Finish (refer to specific WOCA Water Based Finish product for recommended number of coats).
When using a WOCA Sealer, only 2 coats can applied each day, either 2 coats of Sealer OR 1 coat of Sealer and 1 coat of WOCA Water Based Finish.

Danish Indoor Climate Label is a voluntary labeling system for products and materials which can document the effect of off gassing. Indoor climate labeled materials are a natural component in sustainable construction, where a good indoor air quality contributes to social sustainability.

All floor coating products marketed in France are obliged to certify their products with an A+. The aim is to improve indoor air quality and, at the same time, enable consumers to choose environmentally friendly products.

DIBt is a German institute that tests and issues technical approvals for building materials. The goal is to improve the working environment for floor installers while ensuring a safe indoor air quality for the final consumer.

The migration of metals (As, Hg, Se, Cr, Sb, Cd, Pb, Ba) of the sample was tested according EN 71 Part 3 1995. There was no evidence for migration of the named metals above the limit of detection (10-50 ppm). All interior WOCA products are suitable for toys.

WOCA Denmark’s products are tested in neutral laboratories, e.g. by the Institute of Biological Building Materials in Rosenheim and are approved and certified. The impact on the health of people and environment of the methods of production and the products that are used for building, furnishing and living is examined.
